Global Animal Welfare Fund doesn't run its own shelter or pull animals off the street directly. It vets frontline rescue organisations and sanctuaries, and makes sure they have the funding ready when an animal needs help right now.
That distinction matters: it's why one pooled fund can support dogs in China, horses in NSW, and pigs in Nepal, instead of being limited to a single shelter or region.
