Global Animal Welfare Fund
Give monthly. Keep frontline rescue funded before the next emergency call.
Monthly giving. Fully allocated. Publicly reported.
Rescue organisations can't pause care when donations dip. A monthly gift keeps Global Animal Welfare Fund's ready funding pool primed, so frontline teams can act the moment a vetted need is confirmed, not weeks later.
The cost of waiting
This is what happens when the funding isn't ready.
In November 2024, a fire tore through a Beijing shelter. 108 animals didn't make it. Neither did Lijie, the woman who ran back in to try to save them.
World of Angels stepped forward to take in 13 survivors. They refused to turn a single one away.
Without funding, those 13 dogs don't get transport. They don't get veterinary care in the days after the fire. A team already at its limit absorbs an impossible cost, or makes a decision no rescuer should ever have to make.
Global Animal Welfare Fund closed the gap. Within days, all 13 were in care. Every last one made it to a forever home.
Why monthly matters
A single gift funds one rescue. A monthly gift keeps the pool ready for the next one.
Emergencies don't wait for a fundraising campaign to catch up. Monthly support is what lets Global Animal Welfare Fund respond the moment a vetted need is confirmed, not after donations are raised for it.
Funding ready before the call
Your monthly gift feeds a standing reserve, not a single campaign. That means it's already there when the next flood, fire, or emergency rescue happens.
Allocated where it's needed most
Contributions are pooled and directed to the most urgent vetted need at the time, across species and countries, not locked to one project.
Fully reported, every time
Every allocation is named, purposed, and publicly reported. You'll always be able to see the kind of impact your ongoing support makes possible.
Why give through Global Animal Welfare Fund instead of directly?
Traditional charity model
- Pooled into a general fund
- Less visibility into where support goes
- Often focused on broader campaigns
- Urgent gaps may be harder to reach
Global Animal Welfare Fund
- Pooled into ready funding, deployed the moment need is confirmed
- Every allocation named, purposed, and publicly reported
- Focused exclusively on frontline welfare needs
- Vets every rescue organisation before funding is released
Consistent funding, real outcomes
Sanctuaries plan around funding they can count on.
"The support from Global Animal Welfare Fund has made such a meaningful difference to our sanctuary and the animals in our care. We were staring at a $2,500 vet bill. Their support meant we could continue saving lives."

Before you commit to monthly giving.
Is this a 1:1 sponsorship of a specific animal?
No. Global Animal Welfare Fund pools monthly gifts into ready funding that's allocated to the most urgent vetted need at the time, across species and countries. This is what allows funding to be in place before, not after, an emergency happens.
Can I change or cancel my monthly donation?
Yes, you can update or cancel your recurring donation at any time through your Fundraise Up receipt or by contacting Global Animal Welfare Fund directly.
How much of my donation goes to administration?
The vast majority goes directly toward frontline projects and urgent rescue needs. Donations are processed through Fundraise Up, which charges a 4% platform fee plus standard Stripe or PayPal payment processing, and donors can choose to cover this cost at checkout. Global Animal Welfare Fund operates with no salaried staff overheads.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
At this stage, no. Global Animal Welfare Fund is a registered Australian charity, but Australian tax law generally only grants tax-deductible status to animal charities directly operating animal care facilities within Australia. Please speak with your own tax advisor for guidance specific to your situation.

August Frontline Goal
Rescue organisations can't stop feeding animals when donations dip. They can't delay treatment because budgets are tight.
They stretch resources. They absorb the pressure. They make difficult choices quietly.
Consistent funding changes that.
It gives frontline teams the stability to plan ahead, respond faster, and protect animals without compromise.
Your donation helps close that gap.
